D1 motorway, Tatra 613
The 7.4 km long part of the first Moravian section of the motorway from Brno to Kyvalka was ceremoniously opened on Wednesday, September 6, 1972, by the Minister of Transport Stefan Sutka in the presence of Minister of the Interior Josef Jung and the leaders of the South Moravian Region. Two historic vehicles and our newest product of the automotive industry, Tatra Koprivnice, were the first to drive on the opened section of the Moravian motorway. (CTK Photo/Emil Bican)
