Dean Reed

American bord actor and singer Dean Reed who criticized US foreign police and moved permanently to East Gemany in 1973, became immensely popular in the Easten Block and he died in East Berlin of apparent suicide in 1986. However, some believed that he was murdered. Reed publicly supported the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the Berlin Wall consrtruction and compared Ronald Reagan to Stalin, but longed for his homeland and never renounced his US passport.
