Ethnic Germans - deportation from Sudetenland

Czechoslovakia, Marienbad, 1946. Ethnic Germans, who were born in Czechoslovakia and whose ancestors had been in Bohemian and Moravian border areas known as Sudetenland for centuries, are forcefully deported to Germany. Only 40 kilos was allowed to be taken from their homes and they were put into camps similar to concentration camps. The way the Germans were transported resembled the Jewish transports to death camps during the war. CTK Vintage Photo
