Hard currency - earning
Czechoslovakia 1950, near Budweiss, when Scouts were made illegal by the Communist government Pioneers and Socialst Union of Youth were the only allowed organizations for the young people. Faithfulness to the Communist party and the Soviet Union was a must. Young men and women spent part of the summer in pioneer camps where they picked blueberries for export.
