More than 1, 500 employees of Prerov Engineering Works in Prerov are associated in 110 Brigades of Socialist Labour or collectives that compete for this title. Jiri Bruza, a member of the Socialist Labour Brigade of the Czechoslovak-Soviet Friendship Union and Frantisek Stadler's 8-member collective, is working on the head of a mill for the Svoboda cement plant in Yugoslavia.
