On May 30, 1978, a Soviet party and government delegation led by Comrade Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, arrived in Prague, Czechoslovakia, on an official friendly visit to the Czechoslovak Republic.
