Masokombinat in Tesnovice, man, white coat, radio
MARCH 2, 1971 - At the beginning of January, almost 1, 000 pigs were housed in the first of the 22 pavilions of the district meat processing plant. Another 12 pavilions are to be put into operation by the end of the year. The new meat processing plant, whose pig feeding equipment is fully automated and uses compound feed for all animal species, will have a stall capacity for 20 000 pigs when completed and will produce up to 2 800 000 kilograms of pork per year with the application of new techniques and technology. The keeper sets up the automatic machine that controls the feeding, lighting and air conditioning in the stall. (CTK Photo/Frantisek Nesvadba)
