Czechoslovakia 1946, Prague, Milada Horakova, chairperson for the Czechoslovak Women Council with the First Lady Mrs. Hana Benesova. In 1950 Milada Horakova was tried for treason and sentenced to death by hanging. During these darkest times of Communism hundreds of citizens were tried on trumped up charges and were sentenced to hard labor or to death
