APRIL 25, 1965 - On 25 April, Brno celebrated the 20th anniversary of its liberation by the Soviet army with the largest military parade in its history. The first soldiers of the 2nd Ukrainian Front entered the suburbs of Brno on 25 April 1945. A day later, almost the entire city was free.
