AUGUST 30, 1988 - On 30 August, Milos Jakes, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Czechoslovak Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the People's Militia of the Czechoslovak People's Republic, visited the People's Militia educational facility at the Military Land School of the three-time Hero of the Czechoslovak People's Republic and Hero of the Soviet Union, Army General Ludvik Svoboda, in Vyskov. In the afternoon, Milos Jakes attended a meeting of the main officials of the People's Militia to prepare and launch the new training year.
