AUGUST 4, 1971 - The new feed waste processing plant and VEPA pig fattening plant was put into operation in Moravany u Brna. It will have 12 halls of 800 pigs each, which means a current fattening capacity of 9, 600 pigs. To date, 15 unified agricultural cooperatives, the State Farm Brno, the South Moravian Meat Industry Brno and the District Agricultural Administration Brno-Venkov have participated in the new joint venture fattening plant.
