Pink tank commemorating liberation of Prague

The Soviet tank commemorating liberation of Prague at the end of WW II in May 1945 was painted pink by art student David Cerny on the night from 27 to 28 April, 1991. Cerny was arrested and accused of public disturbance. After an official protest by the Russian government the tank was re-painted green, fifteen members of the newly elected parliament took advantage of their official immunity and re-painted the tank pink again in protest against Cernys arrest.
