Reactor for urea production, Josef Vlk, Bedrich

JANUARY 19, 1973 - A huge synthesis reactor for the production of urea with an output of 1050 tons in twenty-four hours was shipped from Brno on 18 January by the Kralovopolska Engineering to the chemical plant in Piestoritz in the German Democratic Republic. The reactor is one of the largest products in the history of the company in the field of high-pressure equipment. It has a diameter of 2, 700 millimetres, weighs 214 tonnes and is thirty metres long.
