Shoe factory - Bata
Svit shoe factory in Gottwaldov (formely Zlin) which belonged to Jan Antonin Bata before WWII. The enormous factory complex consisting of 25 enterprises, personal property and 1500 stores belonging to Jan Antonin Bata were confiscated by Czechoslovak government in 1945 according to Benes Degrees and were never returned. Jan Antonin Bata was accused for collaborating with Germany before WWII for his idea of moving Czech population to Patagonia which was only a dream, and in 2007 he was found not guilty.
