Slup water mill, reconstruction, renovation, repair
AUGUST 4, 1981 - Reconstruction of the Renaissance mill. The Brno Technical Museum is making great efforts to save and restore a large Renaissance mill from the 16th century in Slupu near Znojmo. Once the repairs are completed, this important technical monument will become a museum of the development and history of Czech milling - the mill will be operational with all its functional technological units. The reconstruction of the mill is being carried out by the District Construction Company Znojmo, whose masons and carpenters, led by Josef Prikryl and Ladislav Paul, have done a great job. Workers of the Technical Museum in Brno Antonin Sosnar (left) and J. Neuzil (right) talk with their partner Josef Prikryl about the progress of construction and reconstruction works.
