Soviet Union produced wheat
Czechoslovakia, Cierna nad Tisou 1947. Trains carrying wheat from Soviet Union are unloaded in this eastern Slovakian town. Every day 100 - 150 trains are unloaded. Soviet made trains could not travel past its borders due to a higher track gauge than the European standard of 1435 milimeters. CTK Vintage Photo
