Czechoslovakia 1950, St. Nicholas Day, December 6th. The Soviet Union and its satelite states did not rocognize Christmas. Instead the Russian Grandfather Frost filled in and St. Nicholas was celebrated on the 6th of December when children in former Czechoslovakia, up to this day, receive nuts, dates and other goods
