Tiso trial
Bratislava, Czechoslovakia 1946. Dr. Jozef Tiso is tried before National Court. Tiso ws the President of Slovak State, a pro German state that during the war forcibly deported thousands of Jews from Slovakia. Both Tiso and Mach were subsequent Commanders in Chief of the Hlinka Guards, a feared armed unit which participated in terrorizing Jews and Czechs. CTK Vintage Photo
