11th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall

Numerous people revel as they await the German Reunification on the Berlin Wall in Berlin, GDR, on the night of the 02 October 1990. Almost one million people celebrated the German Unification Day around midnight. After 45 years after the end of World War II, the German citizens were reunited again in a sovereign state. Prior to that, the SED regime had collapsed rapidly. Pressured by the German population, GDR had opened the borders on 09 November 1989
