US Army helps Soviet soldiers after breakdown in West Berlin
A West Berlin police officer (l) and an mp of the US Army (m) standing next to a broken Soviet military bus on 17th June 1968 in Berlin-Zehlendorf. After the Soviet bus had a broken axle near the American headquarters the soldiers turned down any help from the US Forces for hours. Finally they agreed, switched buses and let the Americans tow their bus. The Soviet soldiers probably were on a sightseeing tour through West Berlin
