Battle of Jutland 1916
The German battle cruiser Seydlitz, which was heavily hit during the Battle in the Skagerrak, otherwise known as the Battle of Jutland. On the 31st of May in 1916, the imperial German fleet and the English fleet stood opposite each other in the Skagerrak. The German navy won despite the English predominance. The battle did not change anything concerning the English superiority at sea and caused a German change of strategy towards U-boat war. +++(c) dpa - Report+++
