British birthday parade in honour of Queen in Berlin 1954
The Royal standart is hoisted during a parade of the British garrison in Berlin on the 9th of June in 1954 in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.'s birthday on the Maifeld in front of the Olympia Stadium in Berlin. The hoisting of the standart symbolises the Queen's presence. Many allied officials and officers of high rank, as well as an Soviet officers delegation, participated in the parade
