British town major of Berlin is dismissed
Ruling mayor of Berlin, Dr. Otto Suhr (r), hands over a replica of the Liberty Bell to parting British town major Major General William Pasfield Oliver (2nd of left) in the town hall of Schoneberg on the 27th of April in 1955. Left of Oliver stands his successor Major General R.C. Cottrell-Hill. Right of Oliver stands his wife, with whom he later signed in the Town's Visitor's Book of Berlin
