Canadian soldiers live on camp site
Soldiers of the Canadian army stand next to a caravan in Lahr and fill a paraffin lamp on the 29th of April in 1967. The shift of headquarters of the Canadian air force to Lahr in Baden-Wurttemberg caused an influx of about 10, 000 Canadians and as a consequence acute housing shortage. The soldiers and their families temporarily had to live on camping sites
