Ceremonial act on the occasion of German Unity in Berlin
The celebrations on the occasion of German Unity were crowned by a festive ceremonial act at Berlin's Philharmonie on 03 October 1990. In his speech, German President Richard von Weizsaecker asked the Germans for reciprocal solidarity. 45 years after the end of World War II, the Germans are again united in a sovereign state. About one million people celebrated the Unity on 03 October 1990
