Economy wants to indemnify NS forced laborers

Female forced laborers from East Europe, here building a container in 1943, have been employed in almost all operating divisions of Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg. Although, they lacked in food, clothes, and shoes. Some of them had to come to work barefoot (see photo). Former forced laborers and other NS victims can expect compensation before the end of the year
