Erection of British hut camp in Tiergarten in Berlin

Workers build barracks for the soldiers of the British army in the Tiergarten district in West Berlin, near the sector border with the Soviet-controlled sector of Berlin on the 27th of October in 1961. The accomodations replace tents which had been used up to that date and can be seen in the background
