Federal Public Prosecutor Buback killed in assault
The covered corpses of Siegfried Buback (back) and Wolfgang Goebel. Buback, the Federal Public Prosecutor was shot with a machine gun by members of the RAF on the 7th of April in 1977 in Karlsruhe. His driver Wolfgang Goebel died as well. Injured judicial sergeant Georg Wurster died of his injuries on the 13th of April. RAF terrorists Knut Folkerts, Brigitte Mohnhaupt and Christian Klar were sentenced to life-long prison
