The fire brigade in the burnt out fourth storey of Kaufhof in Frankfurt am Main on the 3rd of April in 1968. Fires broke out in two shopping malls in Frankfurt in the night to Wednesday, the 3rd of April in 1968, which were caused by bomb attacks. Following official statements explosive cartridges were found in both houses. While they still fought against the fire, a woman called the editorial department of the dpa Deutsche Presse-Agentur in Frankfurt and states, that the fires were political acts of revenge'.
