GDR - Opening of the Border at the Brocken
On December 3rd 1989 hundreds of demonstrators are standing at the barb-wired gates on the 1142 metres high Brocken, the highest hill in Central Germany. During the demonstration the gate was opened and people could walk on the hill freely for the first time after 28 years.
