Goethe House in Frankfurt before the reconstruction

Building material and sand are stored in the partly remained garden hall of the library building, on 8 January 1946. The reconstruction of Goethe House, which was destroyed by air attacks, is ensured. After the rubble clearance, the Goethe House in Frankfurt on the Main will be reconstructed accurately. Help from abroad was guaranteed
