Gustav Stresemann
German politician and industrialist Gustav Stresemann on a contemporary photograph. He founded the German People's Party. He achieved a relative stabilisation of Weimar Republic during his time as Imperial Chancellor (1923), he spoke out for an understanding with Great Britain and France as foreign minister of changing cabinets. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1926. He was born on the 10th of May in 1878 in Berlin and died there on the 3rd of October in 1929
