Gustav Stresemann

German politician and industrialist Gustav Stresemann (m) is overwhelmed by journalists after signing the Locarno Treaties on the 16th of October in 1925. He founded the German People's Party in 1918. Stresemann achieved a rather stable situation in Weimar Republic as Imperial chancellor (1923), and campaigned for an understanding with Great Britain and France. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1926. Gustav Stresemann was born on the 10th of May in 1878 in Berlin and died there on the 3rd of October in 1929
