Hawaii copy in Berlin
On 17 April 1972, U.S. generals and politicians of Berlin stand in front of a model of the Waikiki beach on the American holiday island Hawaii. From 28 July to 13 August 1972, a copy of the famous beach is built in Berlin in the context of the German-American folk festival. One can see in this picture (from left to right): Senator Kurt Neubauer, general William W. Cobb, mayor Dr. Rothkegel and brigadier Reimund Millers
