Heligoland residents vote for the first time

First time after the Second World War residents of Heligoland vote their parliament Helgoland Ausschuss'. The previous incumbent was appointed in 1952 by the Schleswig-Holstein Government. The largest part of the 1500 voting Helgolander still lives today scattered throughout the Federal Republic of Germany, so they had to vote in writing. The Helgoland were sent lists of 42 candidates, 11 of which were ticked. The completed ballots were tallied of the election committee in Pinneberg
