Jewish refugees - vicitms of the American bureaucracy
A group of 106 Jewish refugees arrives at Bermerhaven with the American transportship General Sturges in the beginning of July 1950. They have fled in 1939 from the Nazis from Germany and Austria to Shanghai. Afterwards they came to the USA because of the evacuation from the communists. To receive the necessary visa, they travelled to their former home country
