Berlin governing mayor Klaus Schutz (m) during the ceremonial foundation for the new terminal building at airport Berlin-Tegel on 27th April 1970. The new terminal building was dedicated on 23rd October 1974. During the time of the German separation only the airlines of the west allied forces were allowed to fly from and to Berlin
