Lack of coins in 1947 - Currency reform in Germany 1948
A woman in a butchers shop in Bavaria (Germany) on 11 April 1947 has trouble to hand out the change to a customer because of the lack of coins. Coins are not being minted any more and people are expecting a monetary reform. The currency reform in the western part of Germany came into force on 21 June 1948
