Legal proceedings in the case of Siegfried Kabus in 1947 - p

Siegfried Kabus (standing) who is sentenced to death by hanging listens to the judgement on 21 January 1947. On 03 January 1947, the legal proceedings against Siegfried Kabus (2nd from the right) and ten further defendants began in the courtroom of the military prison in Stuttgart. They were reproached for having carried out attacks on the Spruchkammer (translated as trial court') in Esslingen, Backnang and Stuttgart. On 21 January 1947, Siegfried Kabus was sentenced to death by hanging, the other members of his group were partially sentenced to many years of imprisonment. +++(c) dpa - Report+++
