Maximilian Graf von Spee - Sons
Contemporary pictures of the two sons of Admiral Maximilian Graf von Spree, who both died together with his father during the sea battle for the Falkland Islands. Admiral (since 1910) Maximilian Graf von Spee, chief of the cruiser squadron in East Asia and winner of the sea battle near Coronel (1st of November in 1914). He could not prevent the destruction of his squadron near the Falkland Islands and died as the flag ship Schamhorst sank on the 8th of December in 1914. He was born on the 22nd of June in 1861 in Kopenhagen
