Olympic Games 1972: end of hostage-taking
Military airport in Furstenfeldbruck: The front one of the two helicopters of the Federal Border Police is only a wreck now. All nine Israeli hostages, five Arabian terrorists, and a Munich police officer lost their lives during the operation. Arabian terrorists of the group Black September had attacked the Israeli accommodation in the Olympic village, killed two Israelis and took nine hostages in the morning of 5th September. Their ultimatum: release of 200 imprisoned Palestinians and free passage with the other hostages
