Olympic Games 1972: tanks in Olympic village
After the attack of Arabian terrorists of the group Black September on the Israeli Olympic team in the Olympic village on 5 September 1972 during the Summer Olympics in Munich, armored police vehicles are driving through the Olympic village on 6 September 1972. The Arabians killed two Israeli athletes in their accommodation during the terrorist attack. All nine hostages, five terrorists, and a Munich police officer lose their lives during the later failed rescue operation at the military airport Furstenfeldbruck in the night of 6 September 1972
