Prince Otto Eduard Leopold of Bismarck-Schonhausen (Bismarck's full name) was Count of Bismarck, Prince of Bismarck-Schonhausen and Duke of Lauenburg. He was one of the most important German statesmen of the 19th century. Bismarck was the founder and the first Chancellor of the 2. German Empire from 1871 to 1890.
