Philipp Scheidemann
The politician of the German party SPD (l.) with Friedrich Ebert (2.v.r.) during the funeral of the revolutionary fighters in Berlin in December 1918. From 1903 to 1933, Philipp Scheidemann was member of the National Assembly. On November 9th in 1918 he proclaimed the German Republic. He fled into emigration in 1933. He was born on the 26th of July in 1865 in Kassel and died on the 29th of November in 1939 in Kopenhagen
