Post-war era - German children arriving from Jugoslavia 1950
A transport of 150 German children arrives in Munich on 6th October 1950. These children, who were seperated from their parents during the war turmoil, have spent the last five years in camps or on farms. The majority has forgotten their first language almost completely, they only speak broken German. Only a few can look forward to meeting their parents or relatives, most will be admitted to orphanages
