Four Power Agreement on Berlin: Western allied forces inform

Ambassadors of the Western allied forces Sir Roger Jackling (Great Britain, l), Kenneth Rush (USA, 2nd of right) and Jean Sauvagnargues (France, l) inform mayor of Berlin Klaus Schutz (2nd of left) about the talks of the four allied forces on Berlin on the 29th of June in 1970 in the residence of the US ambassador in Berlin-Dahlem. Representatives of the four allied forces met again to sort out open questions on Berlin. Main topics were the status, the security and access ways of West Berlin, as well as general facilitation for the citizens of West Berlin. Resulting from the talks, the Four Power Agreement came into effect by the signing of the Four Power final log on the 3rd of June in 1972
