Rainer Hildebrandt

Rainer Hildebrandt, here in a shot from the postwar period, has already been imprisoned during the Nazi era because of resistance. After the war, initially active schiftstellerisch he founded in 1948, the Battle Group against Inhumanity, but he left the end of 1952. He also taught a search service for prisoners in the Soviet zone and, after the Wall, his first Documentation Centre on Bernauer Strasse.
