Raisin Bomber is lifted from an Airbus transport plane
The 20 meters long fuselage of a Raisin Bomber, which was used during the Berlin Airlift 50 years ago, is brought from Turkey and is being lifted from the Airbus transport plane Beluga on airbase Fassberg, as a present of the Turkish government. The plane will be restored in the following year and becomes the noble piece of the memorial site in Fassberg, which reminds of the coal flights from the town in the Lower Saxony
