Reconstruction of the Church of St. Nicholas in Berlin 1982
The roof constructions of the two new towers of the Church of St. Nicholas in East Berlin are already finished on the 18th of June in 1982. The oldest church of Berlin was alsmost completely destroyed in World War II, only a few foundation walls have remained. For the 750th anniversary of Berlin, the Church of St. Nicholas was entirely reconstructed with two new towers, following old blueprints.
