Soccer World Cup 1954: Heuss honours Rahn

Helmut Rahn (l), goal scorer of the decisive 3:2 go-ahead goal against Hungary in the final of the World Cup on the 4th of July in 1954 at Wankdorf Stadium in Bern, accepts the Silver Bay Leaf from president Theodor Heuss (r). The distinction, which was also received by the other members of the World Cup winning team as well as coach Sepp Herberger and the first president of the German Soccer Federation Peco Bauwens, was presented at Berlin's Olympic Stadium
